I have just returned from a five week holiday to the UK which really took six weeks if I include the preparation, packing, delays and jet lag recovery. The return journey, thanks to Qatar Airways, was quite tedious as we, my wife as well, were stuck in Doha, Qatar after the onwards flight was canceled due to ‘technical issues’. I will not say more about this except avoid using Doha airport, it is a really sub standard airport. Read more
